I have played Hagstroms since 1965 and I will put my Viking asfar as playability and sound up against any guitar made today. And no its not for sale. I have USA Gibsons, Fenders and Martins and cant beat the Viking

nice looking guitars, but the kid has to learn the difference between a 'bridge' and a 'tailpiece' and what a 'floating bridge' actually is. (not to mention the 'trapeze tailpiece')

Acoustic players owe it to themselves to look at Waldens. I've saved money on mine, without sacrificing in any aspect of the purchase.

Looked up some prices on these Hagstroms, and wow, they are very reasonable. Look like kick ass guitars for well under $800.
