PG's Jordan Wagner's latest review featured in Premier Guitar's October 2009 issue is the BC Rich 40th Anniversary Eagle. Read the written review.
For
the 40th collection, they chose to recreate the first four original
electric guitar designs (Eagle, Bich, Mockingbird, Seagull) out of the
innovative minds of Bernie Rico and his staff of designers. Each guitar
feature specifications that closely mimic those appearing in the
earliest B.C. Rich catalogs from the '70s; neck-through construction,
solid Koa bodies and exclusive electronics.
The Eagle's body is
made of koa wood and features a bevel-style top. It comes loaded with
Grover Super Rotomatic tuners, jumbo frets, BC Rich Quad bridge,
DiMarzio Dual Sound humbuckers, which can be switched between
series-parallel and single-coil operations.
