Amp Show where he swings by the Matchless Amplifiers booth. In this
segment, we get our first taste of Matchless' Avalon 30 1x12 combo.
The
Avalon 30 1x12 combo is a one-channel, 30 Watt (switchable to 15 Watt)
Class A amp. It has 4-EL84 power tubes, 3-12AX17, 5-12AX7 (reverb)
preamp tubes and 1-5AR4 rectifier tube. The Avalon utilizes an
innovative new hybrid construction method which combines point to point
wiring, circuit tracing, and turret style construction. Also, this
model comes packed with a Celestion G12H30 speaker.
