PG's Joe Coffey is On Location in Van Nuys, CA, for the 2009 LA Amp Show where he swings by the Henman-Bevilacqua Guitars booth. In this video segment we get our first peek at their S1 model.

The S1 is a solidbody guitar that features a Honduran mahogany body with a Northwestern flame maple top. Also, it has a three-piece sapelle neck and headstock with an ebony fingerboard. It comes loaded with WCR pickups (Crossroads-neck; Godwood-bridge) and Sperzel locking tuners.

I was at the show, that amp is made by pwe amplification. Unbelievable sounding amp. I've got one on order.

Those WCRs sound awesome, especially liked the two HB setting, amazing definition. Thought it was GOODwood though, perhaps I'm behind the times.
I've designed a guitar that could easily slide into their line as a third shape, need to talk to Scott sometime.

"single piece headstock" sounds frightning to me. I like the sound of the guitar, particularly the coil tap sounds in contrast to the un-tapped.
