PG's Adam Moore is On Location in New York City, NY, where he visits Rudy's Music. In this video segment, we get the tour of Pensa Guitar's Custom Shop & Repair.

While the wood is not cut in NYC, everything else is done by hand in this small boutique shop. Here, we get to check out some Mark Knopfler models featuring quilted maple tops, mahogany bodies, hardtail or Floyd Rose bridges, and various pickup configurations. In addition, we get to see one of the ravaged guitars from the recent flood in Nashville as Keith Urban's Gibson needed some emergency TLC in order to do a performance that night in NYC.

the sound was too poor, but the tour was amazing! I love Pensa guitars. On the other side, Rudy is very nice person who is always friendly when people visit him at his store! He usually tells interesting anecdotes. Thank a lot for uploading this video!

my hell how much is a shotgun mic or a condenser? sooo many videos with loud sound intro to nothing at all when the video gets good. all in all a pretty pointless video wow we saw a channel routed for binding on the head stock.. beautiful guitars though.

yeah, great tour. It´s allways interesting to see the technical side. Please upgrade your sound equipment.

Such a shame to have a video with poor sound from a professional magazine. Take the time to walk the tour first before recording, notify those who will be speaking, put on lapel mic's and test the sound before recording.

+1 on the mic issue. Maybe invest in a lavaliere for your interviewees. Otherwise, I really appreciate your visiting the shops and owners who do custom work. Thanks.
