HE is a great maker..i wish he could make a 17inch with a 25 or smaller scale..i cant handle the 25.5 anymore. He also wont make me a 7 string version...Roger, holla if u ever change ur mind on that! Did i hear him say the archtops are made in Japan then he just does the finish work?

I have been playing bass for over 40 years- Gibsons, Fenders, Ricks. I've had a 24 fret 5 string Sadowsky for a little over a year now and I am still discovering its possibilities. The neck and overall feel is so comfortable. Every note resonates. Tone is punchy in the lows yet clear. Roger built this one to my specs: quilted maple top, swamp ash body, maple neck with figured maple fret board. Nothing fancy. Well worth the money.
