PG's Brett Petrusek is On Location in Nashville, TN, for the 2010 Summer NAMM show where he visits the Pacer Concepts booth. In this segment, we check out their product the stocker, which protects headstocks when they're stored in gig bags.

The Stocker is designed to function on 99.9% of all inline tuner guitars. The material selected for the construction is ABS Plastic for durability and flexibility. ABS Plastic is soft enough as to not harm any of your instruments surfaces. They do include two self-adhering felt templates that add extra protection for those who wish to provide a plush interior for their instrument.

J.P. on 07/23/2010	Peter, Good idea! Imo, the weakest point on the neck is probably around the nut. This item doesn't really address that area. It would be great to have something to protect the entire neck. There are so many different sizes of keys, and scale sizes, that something like this would have to be custom rather than mass produced. A hardshell case is might very well be the best answer.
Peter on 07/23/2010	Pity it doesn't cover the whole neck to take off the pressure if knocked.Something like a tube that clips over the bottom of the guitar?.
