PG's On Location at the 2010 Summer NAMM Show where we get to check out 3rd Power Amps American Dream 1x12 combo. It includes a Brownface channel, Blackface channel, switchable tube output power (22w/10w), Bright switch on each channel, and global Presence control. The amp also features 3rd Power's proprietary Switchback  triangular speaker enclosure to deliver room-filling sound while isolating the chassis and sensitive tubes from vibrations originating with the speaker. SM57 was on the floor in front of the amp - so all amp sounds are taken from that mic.

Amp sounds great! Who gives a shit what the interview mic sounds like... Good job Jamie! was the same mic used to do both the interview and the amp demo? When he's playing it sounds fine.

I'm really sorry about the talk-back mic sound quality. I wish I had some control over that but I don't. This was off the cuff at Summer NAMM and to the credit of the PG crew, they had so much to cover and only one video crew to do it all with. I'll try to talk less next time and play more - but I did think that much of the "what's so different" stuff was covered well. Regarding price: the American Dream 112 combo has a "street price" of $2299 loaded with a Celestion Alnico Gold. With a Vintage 30, it streets for $1999. Warranty is 5 years. This amp is designed and manufactured by hand in Franklin, TN. It truly nails the vintage '62 and '65 Deluxe tones. Vince Gill bought SN#0003. Patrick Matera from Katy Perry is on tour with a prototype of the head version because he couldn't wait for the production model (coming out next month). Cheers! 3RD POWER

I'm pretty much in accord with the other commentators. If you're gonna do audio/music product demos, get a decent mic. How can anybody tell what the amp really sounds like when the reviewers sound like they're talking on 2 tin cans & a string? I'm running decent audio on this pc, but this sounds like the 1.2" built-in speakers on a $49 ten-yr-old laptop. Sorry. Keep trying. Love PremGuit!

Boring Video. Shut up and play the guitar. I didn't think the amp sounded any better then your average amp.

Sound quality is similar to an old AT+T headset; visuals are worse than my wedding video. It would be nice to hear more/better, see the back of the amp, know about it's warranty & price/availability. PG: are you listening?

The amp is interesting and sounds good, but I got seasick watching this vid; constat zooming in/out of the amp and panning the two guys. And there was maybe 30 seconds of actual playing in a nine minute clip

Good grief the amp sounds great, but what's up with the Mission Control vocal mic?! "We have liftoff!"
