Interesting video. I have read and seen other work on you tube and its is unique to see a female guiatrist. I am old enough that I remeber when Jimi's rendition was first released. I think he would have been pleased. Only negative was the sound was a little hard to pick up and bless her heart, the vocals are justokay but her playing is her own.

Where exactly is the T&A, "Slim Jim"? I didn't see any. She seemed fully clothed to me. I guess I was too busy watching an excellent guitar player than being a sexist douche who can't see beyond the same old SRV/Hendrix diatribe and refuses to acknowledge a great player because she happens to be a beautiful woman. There were and are lots of guitar players that are great ya know. If you really wanted to get into semantics you could say SRV was just a clone who worshipped at the altar of Hendrix and Albert King just a wee too much. She played with no feeling? Seemed like she had lots of feeling up there. Keep the bitter small mindedness to a minimum. You'll enjoy life so much more. Promise.

She's definitely tapped into Electric Ladyland and that is a good thing.Rock on Lady O!

- Just because it has T&A doesn't mean it's rock 'n' roll. I've seen her live and this is the only song in which I said, "Okay, I'll check it." I was bored again watching it here. And people are right who said there's no "feeling" in her playing. SRV didn't read or write music, he felt music and it shows in his playing. I believe Jimi was the same way. You can't fool people who "feel" the music when it's presented. T&A goes so far until the marketing wears off.

I know a kid right now that has the talent and potential of being the fastest shredder in history, as well as the true rival to Hendrix, if there ever was one! It's the future of music really, the face of things yet to come! Rock on Girl! You are so massive!! PG, thanks for this clip, way to kewl!!
