PG's Joe Coffey is On Location at San Luis Obispo, CA, where he visits the Ernie Ball Music Man factory. In this segment, Scott Ball (grandson of Ernie Ball and son of Sterling) who specializes in sales and product development for EBMM, shows off new colors, configurations and pickguard options that EBMM are currently mulling over the 2011 production year.

They should make a "Bongo" guitar. That would be the coolest thing ever. But most guitarist are too conservative to accept anything that looks like it was designed in the 21st century. Some won't even look at designs that aren't at least half a century old. Don't get me wrong, I like the guitar design classics as much as anybody and I LOVE vintage style strats (which looked like something from outer space to the 5oies folks, ironically), but I'm trying to keep an open mind for new things, too.

Yes,Scott is very good at presenting the product! Those roasted necks are way cool!! Hopefully some of them get put on some Axises with insanely figured tops! (we can only hope!)
