Regarding asymmetrical necks: "No one else is doing this now" ...except for *many* Bass Companies (Mike Tobias of Tobias/MTD the first thru my head) going back to the early-'80s and the start of 5 & 6-string basses hitting the markets. Very cool signature model, but pretty much *anyone* could do a better job of promo-ing their gear than Weezer-guy...

If you listen to him, he isn't putting Nuge or Jimi down, just saying that in the post-Van Halen era, people played faster than they did. No diss, no attack!

The Jackson spokesman had it right the first time. Radius is measured in inches, not degrees.

Also, it's probably not such a great sales tactic, no matter in how subtle a fashion it is done, to down Jimi or the Nuge. Internet video gives people a LOOOONG memory. Personally, I do not buy gear based on endorsements. Conversely, someone cutting on my faves won't stop me from getting what I like, either. However, most of the older guitarists who are the main target demographic for the Jackson CS will get turned off from buying a Jackson if some Rivers Cuomo look-alike bashes their favorite pentatonic abusing loudmouth (Nugent). If that same alternative torn sweater type rips on their childhood hero, the eternally out of tune, glassy eyed, diry hippie Hendrix, well, I GUARANTEE Jackson will lose many sales as a result. Right or wrong, a Jimi lover's or Ted fan's money spends just the same as a Rhoads follower's or a Broderick disciple's. Earning revenue for Jackson is that rep's job; losing customers by running your mouth is not.

that was an interesting video, i like how broderik went to jackson like the late 80's/90's megadeth was now with david ellefson going to jackson its kind of cool. but i hope dave sticks with dean edge. and i had no idea they made a RR style king v like his origional i always wondered why no one ever did anything with that

Chris Broderick model is amazing, he's the kind of guitarist who knows exactly what it want, and what he expect from a guitar, Jackson endorsed this wonderfull virtuoso, the over trademarks should have to wake up before it happens, go on Chris, you are great and your model reflects it!!!
