I agree Jonny7. You will always sound like YOU not matter the amp. Opinions are like arm pits.. everyone has one but most stink. HRRRRTIEEIKDKSL That's slang for play whatever you want and leave the rest of us the F alone.

YouTube, Chat rooms, Facebook blah, blah.Typewriter malcontents. Mesa, Fender, Mudshark. A great sounding amp helps alot but true great tone is in the hands my guitar brothers!Great tone is so subjective! Life's too short for snarkin'on the interwebs! Love the music.

Nice amp but again I say, just a so so amp that I think other cheaper amps can handle. And I disagree with Angel whoever you are. Maybe some day you'll get an ear for tone. You are disrespecting a whole lotta signed artist by dis'ng Boogie brother. Something tells me you have to catch up on album sales. good luck with that.

Willie vega, some people think they know everything yet can't back it up. And Angel, my amp has never died and it was recommended to me by Andy Timmons during a workshop at my music store. He plays Mesa you know and is a pretty good player with awesome tone. We've never had a Boogie come back for warranty work in my six years as a dealer. Who did you work for? Maybe it is you who is tone deaf. What do you play mr snob? I own a lot of amps BTW. Let's compare.

Oh, and as far as my opinion goes on this amp- I think it sounds great. It would be perfect for blues, rock, or vintage sounding punk. The pickups in the Gibson Les Paul Traditional are quite unique to other guitars, though. But I only play vintage Gibsons, so it's the closest to what my actual tone would be coming from that amp; except my tone would be thicker.

How many times has your Roadster died, Josh?! I used to sell them, and saw them breaking CONSTANTLY. Good luck with that. Hopefully someday you'll get an ear for tone.

eh.... I'm not a tone snob and I much prefer amps with all the bells and whistles. Loving my Boogie Roadster for live variety music. I think the tone is just as good and is the only amp I take and play on weekend gigs to cover a vast variety of music. What is even more hard to believe is that I have a Dr. Z Max 38 Sr and a basic MIM Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and was playing live one night and got more compliments on the HRD in clean mode. Go figure.
