Wow, this thing looks cool, can't wait to check one out. It's so cheap I'll probably get one just for grins.

I want to jump in here to clarify a few points. We welcome discussion and criticism in our comments, but not flat-out inaccurate statements. First, this is not a product review. It's an overview meant to inform you of new products, and it is completely non-evaluative. As often as possible when we are at shows, we do try to get a sound sample. However, not every manufacturer sets up their booth that way. As NAMM shows tend to be loud and "Decibel Police" patrol the aisles, some companies prefer not to plug their stuff in. We still like to provide videos for products that we think are interesting, as it's often the first place for you to find out about a product that hasn't had a press release and isn't on the company site. Further, this is not done for advertising dollars. If you look at our NAMM videos from Summer NAMM, the majority of the companies covered don't advertise. It isn't a consideration when we do video shoots. The purpose of show demos and overviews is, as stated above, to give you details on new products as if you were at the show - advertiser or not. We thank you all for your feedback, and please trust that we do make every attempt to provide audio along with our videos from shows. It's just not always possible.

First off, goob, I've been to a NAMM. That's all NAMM is -- a bunch of salesmen, some sleazier than others. PG provides reviews for one purpose, that is, to garner ad revenue. If there's been a PG review that honestly reported that something did suck, I might think more of it. Just once I'd like to see an honest video that says "stay away consumers!" Ain't never -- EVER -- gonna happen.

Second off, Coot, I don't know what's malfunctioning in the carbon unit you live in, but there are a gazillion YouTube demo videos complete with audio that may not be a definitive audition, but at least can serve to rather easily eliminate things that suck -- vids not well recorded notwithstanding of course. I find your response bogus, and I think you find it bogus too if you've ever availed yourself of these videos.

So I agree -- tell me what it is that's so great about this thing at least, and play through it so I can tell whether it's worth further investigation. To argue against that is just ridiculous.

Golly Mr. Kenn. I feel so bad that you weren't impressed that I just quit being a musician. Because I don't ever want to end up with your attitude. (Just kidding about that quitting stuff) Seriously, you need to think in more dimensions before engaging your typing fingers. Maybe you're a drummer. They don't have to think before banging. Nope. Sorry. Drummers are actually not as primitive as I indicated. And Mr AmpLooker, this whole thing is to pique your interest so you can investigate on your own. This PG subscription is lost on you. I have used Traynor stuff since the 60's and have always felt that their stuff is worth a fair "Listen". But Jeez! If you guys are judging an amp by the way it sounds on an ONLINE magazine review, then your skills surpass all of us regular carbon based units. Oh well, you probably stopped reading by now. I am going to wait till it shows up in a store before I just roundly condemn it and PG for bringing it to my attention. Really

Hey chris kenn...evr been to a namm? Obviously not based on your sleazy salesman comment....Duh...What do you think a NAMM show is? Yeah, should have been able to hear it, but there is a lack of new ANYTHING at the last 3 summer NAMM shows. Not PG's fault. That's what's in the booth.

I'm a musician - I get the sleezy salesman's story all day long....I only buy if I can play it - and I only play it if I'm interested - (by maybe a video that let's you HEAR what the musical AUDIO product SOUNDS like...) I can only assume that the "amp" sucks, as the Traynor rep can't even find the words to pump up his own product and makes no effort to show you what's desireable about it - I'm unimpressed with a stompbox amp with micro-knobs....hmmmmm.....what would reel me in?....(PG - half the fault lies with yOUR on location team) FAIL.

It was an informative video. Any Traynor product is worth knowing about.

Agreed - would have loved to have heard this amp. This video adds little value.

Nothing better than looking at amp... Expect for *listening* to amps. This video is a waste of 2:40.
