EH is hardly the only pedal brand breaking new ground. Check out SnazzyFX, Midfi, Moog, Strymon, Subdecay, Koma Elektronik - -just to name a few.

That's pretty crazy! The Danelectro/Coral sitar simulation is cool (Hooked On A Feeling, anyone?), but one of the settings that was briefly touched on sounded almost like a 12-string. I'm not so sure about the major third that I was hearing in the drone--real sitars have their drone strings (not the sympathetic ones) tuned in roots, fifths and octaves. Still, it's a cool pedal!

Pretty cool! It's about time someone came out with a halfway decent pedal to emulate the sitar. Danelectro had one a few years back but it wasn't very good. This one isn't bad. I'd like to hear the Ravish without the ambiance turned on. With it, it sounds very digitally metallic as does a short digital delay (50-100 ms) with a lot of repeats on it. The best electronic sitar emulation I've heard is the Variax although I'm not a big fan of Line6 products. The Dan-O Vinnie Bell (or copy) is the only real way to go but the Ravish is the best attempt yet at getting the sitar vibe in a pedal.

Ambient sounds are nice. The Sitar sounds?! Just sounds electronic (guitar vo-coder-ish).

Is EH the only pedal manufacturer that is breaking new ground?

Wow, some really cool tones/features. A few user patches would be nice.
