Vivian Campbell is no " guitar whore" he is extremely versatile! Music is ART not a competition! When people say nasty comments about another "artist" it just proves they don't get it! So either stop putting down people you are in envy of or take up poker or something where "competition" matters! Rock on Thin Lizzy!

Actually, Campbell has just recently been replaced in the Lizzy line-up, because of a prior tour commitment with his 'full time' band Def Leppard. From what I've seen and heard from the few live cuts on You-Tube, Campbell did a wonderful job playing in Lizzy. Short of pulling Brian Robertson out on tour or 're-animating' Gary Moore; I can't think of anyone better suited for that particular gig.

Saw Viv Campbell support Lizzy as guitarist with Sweet Savage (circa 81/82) and thought then he reminded me a little of Gary Moore. His guitar work defined Dio's Holy Diver as a classic of it's time. No suprise he's been in demand since and added credibility to what had become a tattered Lizzy legacy in recent years. I think I'll back Scott & Brian's judgement as to what constitutes a Thin Lizzy guitarist over some bilious web posting.

Viv has been part of Thin Lizzy, and hopefully will be again in the future. I saw the last line up with Sykes, and anyone dragged Lizzy's legacy down it was him. I've seen recent vids of them with Viv and Richard Fortus, and got my tickets already for next year's tour. Long live Lizzy!!!!

You know something if it keeps Phil Lynott's legacy alive who are we to judge, it's great to see Lizzy still going, now any chance of swinging around to Florida?

Why do people continue to judge Vivian Campbell? If Scott and the rest of the rest of the original members of Thin Lizzy took Vivian on who are you to question if he fits or not? Are you a better judge of who fits in Lizzy than Scott? I think not. so shut the hell up and accept what the people who are qualified to say who fits Lizzy and who does not. It's that simple. Vivian is no Gary Moore, we all know that but then who the hell is? If you can't out play Vivian then you are no position to judge and we know that you can't other wise you will be trying out for a shot in the band. I'm just saying. "LYVINE" has spoken!!!!!
