Worst amp demo EVER. Tell the guitar player to listen to some good tone and music to cure his tin ears. Nobody likes the eternal noodle crap.

Terrible demonstration. This does the Bad Cat no justice. I own a Cougar 50 watt head and love it.

The Bad Cats I've played through are distinctive due to their tone controls. Really can dial in a wide variety of tones w/o 'hot/fat/tight/burn' swtiches. But demoing stuff like that is not NAMM-ish I suppose.

Would be nice if the player were more interested in demonstrating the sound of the amps than impressing us with his (yawn) chops....

I have been a longtime Bad Cat player (Hot Cat 30 R), I am going to reserve my judgement until I can play one of these for myself. I am however VERY excited about these amps! If it is even similar in sound to my Hot Cat I'll be very buying one as a back up!

Cougar 5 is thought to be 699 street. Cougar 50 head 999, Cougar 50 combo 1100-1200 as per the vid. I know its NAMM, but I just think these amps deserve a better demo. If it were my company I would have someone there who knows the amp, variety of settings to showcase different tones/possibilities, and a couple mainstream guitars.
