One of the most down to earth guys, actually the whole band is, just truly nice people. Phil is the type you could just have a beer with and tell stories. He's cool, uber-talented, and a part of one of the most widely known bands of all time. Even if people don't like DL, EVERYONE has heard of them, bar none.

Rebecca needs to do the interviews in a swim suit. Or maybe a school girl uniform. yeah, that's it.

The sound changes because he was playing the guitar more, not because of the finish.

That was an excellent run down. Phil is the real deal, honest, interesting and enthusiastic. There was none of that pseudo acting dumn about about the gear or trying and failing to be a comedian (watch the painful bumblefuck rundown) just answering the questions well. We need more like this!

I watch all of Rebecca's videos just because she is in them, I don't even play guitar; she is a Goddess, the creator of all my fantasies and dreams in technicolor; I can't wait to see her next video. PG should have a site devoted to her with pictures and videos and a FB page too; I don't care if she never interviews anyone, as long as she is here I am a fan of Premier Rebecca Guitar Dirks.

"Hysteria" was the first album & Def Leppard the first band I truly "fell for" - I grew up in a musical family (both Mom, Dad & Brother play guitar & Dad has a nice stable including a 1968 Martin D-35 and a '70s Guild acoustic, early '70s Gibson SG Custom as well as '90s Hamer Studio Custom & Jimmie Vaughan Tex-Mex Stratocaster) while I started singing @ 6 and continued until Graduating High School with Honors in Music from it, but Def Leppard & Rick Savage were the initial inspiration for my bugging my Parents for a Bass in 1988 after I had digested "Hysteria" and gone back and collected their back catalog as well. Unlike the vast majority of my friends that picked up Guitars at the same time frame, I've stuck with it for over 20 years through the various stages of "Original Band"/"Professional Cover Band"/"Semi-Professional" Session & Sideman" and am currently demoing my own material for a self-financed solo project And while my Influences have become much more varied and "muso" than Leppard & Savage, I will *ALWAYS* try to find a late '80s Hamer Scarab Bass that I can refinish in White just like "Sav" played during that time. As as a Hack Guitarist who can just play enough to get my songwriting ideas down, Phil Collen's work in the band has influenced me in that area as well... the vast majority of songs I can play the whole way through are Def Leppard tunes and one of the first *guitars* I truly noticed was his first Archtop Signature model (which may have influenced my "Main Basses", Spectors with their arched tops and curved backs which must have been a design influence on his) . Thanks to both Rebecca and him for a great rundown on his instruments & rig! ...and Don, AFAIK Phil took apart his Ibanez DT555 Destroyer and used the pickups and some of the hardware on/in his main Studio Strat. Besides, he's been with Jackson for *25*

I love Phil Collen. I think he's a great player and really under-rated. It was cool to seen an interview with him talking about his gear.

I enjoyed the Interview with Rebecca and Phil. It was nice to see him talked candidly abouthis Rig and his Jacksons collection for this Tour. He is a great Guitarist and i like his feel when he plays. I have been following Def Leppard since they were formed and always like their stuff. I am more of an Iron Maiden and Judas Priest fan but Def Leppard harmony and melodies always got my attention. They make great music for their fans and deliver a good show Live.

I have seen Def Leppard many times and i love how their music is constructed with the Melodies and the Hard Rock feel.Mutt Lang made it happen for them. Phil Collen is a Great Guitar player for Def Leppard in his Cord structure, Melodies and Leads. I prefer to see him wear a Shirt ot T shirt when he plays because i don't think it's a Body Building contest. Vivian Cambell is also an amazing player that i have followed from the Dio years and Whitesnake. He is a great addition to the Band although he does not have most of the Leads. He is a far better Lead player for me than Phil Collen but i respect the Def Leppard feel from him. They were in Toronto on the 16th Aug and it was the best i have heard Joe Elliots voice live. I was never happy with his vocals live but as a Band they are Great Live.
