Another great PG interview,I love the fact that Henry Garza is real down to earth. This was like a dual interview which was nice, it's was great to get the music and the tech stuff all in one. Pots? I like a 250/500 with a HSS, standard all 250's. I would like to catch LLB live someday....

Mr Duncan is gettin old but i've always used other peoples lipstick pu's they aint goin away....

Sad to see him use sucha painful string yes thicker mass for more tone But on the other hnad he gigs like crazy that's one hell of a workout and A LOT of abuse to a guitar neck. I'm sure he could get that same tone with a much thinner string, or just keep tuning down.

I've seen LLB about 4 times in concert. Henry Is one of my favorite players. Fantastic guitar player! They did a jam with Los Lobos (in Tacoma Wa)that was awsome and you just get the feeling that these guys can play anything and play it very well. Not many "current acts" that I'd rather see more then LLB. If you haven't seen them live I highly recomend going to see them.

The comment that Ish makes at the end on changing pot values is so true. As a Tech, it always infuriates me when someone wants to "reinvent" a guitar. Fender guitars comes with 250K pots. The on going debate about potentiometer values drives me nuts. When I approached Lindy Fralin shop on this issue, the response was basically to learn how to use your tone controls. That is not a quote, but that was the idea!

Saw them in Northern VA a couple years back. Great show. Henry is very talented and humble. Seems like a great guy on top of being an amazing musician. The guitars a cool too. Nice discussion on the components used in each one. Looking to install Texas Specials in my strat sometime soon.

Good interview, but I wish she could have spent more time with Ish. He knows the real deal on all the gear. Still love Henry's playing and his very good personality.

A good old Twin and simple JCM2000. Love the simplicity. Man has great tone live and you just feel like they are just jamming in your living room. Super nice and great tone. Love the humility. Ish is da man, str8 forward, to the point. I am also a big switchcraft fan.
