I have always enjoyed Maroon 5's sound, great interview once again PG! That pedalboard must weigh a ton, I guess the roadies earn thier keep. Great to see the artist do the tech side also.

His Line 6 DL4 is definitely modded, probably for tone/reliability reasons. The LED's here are blue, instead of red when stock.

the line6 doesnt ruin my tone, people like him can afford any delay, so they choose to use them, theres a reason you see a dl4 on maybe 60% of pedalboards

Re: deadgeorge: "tone" is subjective. He plays what he likes for his tone and there are many Line6 delays shoved into many a pro rack these days. He plays the large venues every week. you?

drop that line 6 delay and get yourself a Visual Sound Dual Tap Delay!! much better tone, gives your all the analog goodness with digital accuracy

So nice when the actual player can do his own rig rundown instead of the tech. You get the real feel for his reasons for certain pedals and tone options, as well as demos. Matchless and /13 are hard to beat!

I agree, I really enjoy these rig rundowns. I love seeing all the different visions for each player etc. Good stuff, keep them coming....

Smokin' guitar player and a really nice guy as well! My band used to play with his old band "Square" back in the day... they were really great... To me they sounded like a mixture of Steely Dan and Ben folds...
