Will someone please tell that guy to stop flirting with my future wife!! Well, she will be when I let her know....come to think of it, better let my current wife know about it as well! But seriously, an entertaining interview and goes to show it again that Rebecca is not only smart AND hot, but she knows what she's talking about in regards to guitars.

Pretty funny stuff. He (Russ Parrish) was featured in Mark Varney's Spotlight column in the very first Guitar Player mag I bought (June 1987 with John Scofield on the cover). Saw this vid, looked up the band on Wikipedia and recognised his name. Still have that mag too:)

Steel Panther is terrible! I do not like Satchel's playing and this video was awful! Having said that these guys are funny so whatever....

... Kramers were okay in the day (early'80-'84) but not spectacular guits - I should know I had two Barettas. By the mid-late '80s though they were being made in Korea, which is why EVH ditched 'em for Music Man/Ernie Ball... had one of those EVH EB/MM models (1st run) & it was excellent.. I just couldn't keep it. Anyway, the #1 guitar manufacturer of the '80s was of course Charvel/Jackson, then later ESP. I had two of those as well - both Lynch's. For a while I also a single-coil ESP Strat, but it wasn't mine & I reluctantly had to give it back. Point being: Charvels/Jacksons/ESPs were better than the "Shamer" guitars of the mid to late '80s...

That is soooo much a wig... Steel Panther makes the most aweful music, but they're funny as hell and great professionals!
