"Always been turned off by the names of their guitars. I have small kids and sometimes play in church." Bought a custom rod cover for mine. Doesn't say "Hellraiser" on it now.

Doesn't anybody play anything other than drop-tuned chugga-chugga anymore? Not that there's anything wrong with that, but there are so many other styles that can be played on electric guitar, why limit the review to just that? It seems like a pretty versatile guitar--it would have been nice to hear how it sounds for clean country lead, for example, or jazz, or slightly overdriven blues. Not all of us out here are drop-tuned metal guys.

Really horrible recording, open tuning is too LOW,could not hear the upper register strings at all. Really bad sloppy playing,I KNOW this guitar sounds better than that!
Besides all this:nice review.

Always been turned off by the names of their guitars. I have small kids and sometimes play in church. Guess those guitars are not meant for me anyway. Nice guitar for the money.

Good review. The boominess of the acoustic portion of the test is related to the amp and its settings, correct? Good to hear it in a straightforward fashion.
