Made in England limited edition made in 2012 only, last New Amps introduced while Jim Marshall was still with us. Class 5 is ridiculous for home practice, way too loud. These puppies should be just right and will still be loud. Had a Blackstar HT5 which was loud but Class 5 deafening. DSL1 Combo on order, which should be great for home use. 0.1W setting for late night practice.

the best low wattage amp I've ever heard was " Marshall Class 5 " . a real vintage tube amp ! now it's discontinued and Marshall's making these 1w amps , instead of " Class 5 " !! what a shame
p.s. : and they're overpriced too !!!

They sound incredible and cost too much but I'm getting one anyway. They are not "handwired" by the way, simple pcb board with typical "lego" caps like you see on any of their other productions amps. Also Marshall if you are listening, I think you should have put 12 inch speakers in the combo versions since they drive 412 cabs so well.

I don't care if they're made in england, they are over priced. the parts list is rediculously low. Anyone with an electrical engineering degree should be able to make one of these for much less.

Great job Marshall!! Lunch box heads have been the wave of the future. These 3 heads really sound great for their time periods. $750 is pricey but their made in England and not China so count that factor in. I bought a Bogner Brixton for $1300. I could have bought the 60's Marshall and 80's for around the same price and would have been better off for recording and playing.

Anything made in China- Forget about it! I would rather do with out n save money for 6 more months than buy anything from a country like those people!!
