The 'Z-Vex Distortron' is a good pedal; but it needs a little more'gain'. This 'Double Rock' should compensate for the lack of gain. As far as some of their other pedals; I've tried out the 'Fuzz Factory' & 'Box Of Rock', & I wouldn't give you a nickel for either. Seems like some of their pedals are more predicated on 'cute/ wacky' paint jobs than sounding good.

For $300.00 the made in korea Seinbergers were a steal also the Hohner The Jack but I will be purchasing a Carvin headless as I love my other three Carvin guitars and nothing and I mean nothing stays in tune better than a headless guitar no matter how much you use the whammy bar and string changing takes 3 minutes. It really is a superior design to regular guitars and Holdsworth knows it and finally got his wish. Be ready to pay more for strings though.

I have had the legacy 1 and x100b, they were my favorites, wish I had never gotten rid of them. I guess I found my new amp.

These are much better than the made-in-China Steinberger guitars.

Great tones! I have a Carvin Holdsworth Fatboy guitar, so I know how good they sound--but that Legacy 3 amp sounds terrific! I'm looking forward to hearing a more comprehensive demo on it--the clean's nice, the high gain's cool, but will it do a slightly overdriven blues-sort of crunch? Inquiring minds want to know...
