Matt's OD tone is a Klon pedal, maybe they weren't allowed to use that pedal at the show, lol...that Schofield model amp is a clean only amp (for like 6 grand)?!? Unimpressed...lots of much better boutique values our there from Fuchs, and many others for a lot less cake.

Sounds like rubber bands played through a Champ with a torn cone. Not sure that's the sound Schofield & Two Rock intended and will be gigging - probably just a bad demo or recording, but what a bad demo. Demonstrator isn't too useful either - possibly shot after a (too) long lunch?!?

Eh, not that impressed. I like the Carol-Ann amps so much better.

That was just a bad review, nothing more. If you take notice the controls were all set in very undynamic positions. I'm sure it's a great amp, but first if it's not voiced to your style then what's the use.

Mediocre.

As others have noted, Matt's amp sound at TRI Studios absolutely killed! Just goes to show that gear isn't everything. It's more about who's playing.

NAMM demos are always a challenge because of the ambient noise. To see a demo with higher sound quality, check out the Matt Schofield performance at TRI Studios here http://www.tristudios.com/mattschofield_ tworock.

Matt killed with this amp during a TMI studios online concert a couple days before namm. He apparently uses a klon and a providence OD ....so maybe he's just looking for a great clean amp? in anycase, Great Tone from Matt through this amp- he frequently solos on the bridge pup of his strat and it sounds fantastic. again, not sure if he's hitting a gain pedal to get to that tone. we all know it starts with the player and Matt's a great one, but his drive/solos tone was very cool- on either the bridge or neck pup. imho

Yea, there's a LOT of noise at that show - probably difficult to get a decent sound clip there.

I concur with Sam. Matt sounded great with it. This clip, not so flattering. NAMM show, I'd think someone within walking distance must have a guitar tuner they'd let Stoney borrow.
