Looks really great, but seems a little costly for the current economy. Of course there is noise, it's a Tele with single coils, and he's right beside the amp you Jeenious! There aren't many US made amps that will do or sound like this, that are Tube. Unless you play through one, you'll never know how it "feels", so I reserve the right to Not pass judgement on it yet. Also, just because it retails for $2,500, I find the Fender "street price" is usually 70% of that number. So it'll likely sell for around $1,800 in your music shop. Not a bad deal at all!! Great job Fender!

Why, why, why a Tele to demo a hi-gain amp? With single coils? His playing wasn't long enough to show what all it could do.

Sounds like a good source of spitty, un-musical distortion. Like an AM radio when the signal starts to fade. Your mileage may vary. I'll pass.

Not too bad for a USA made amp. I thought it sounded pretty sweet for a mass producer like Fender. Someone said they could think of three amps that can do the same for 1k cheaper, well I can think of 20+ amps that cost more that don't sound any better. People always asking for US made stuff then beat up the manufacturer due to cost.

Doh....a Tele with noisy single coils...what else do you think would happen. Total silence?

Hmmm...looks and sounds like the Sunn amps when Fender had them.

Sounds like crap. Listen to the hum when he flips to Ch 2.... So Fender builds a Marshall, asnd charges triple? NICE JOB, FENDER! I can think of at least three amps that can do what this does AND leave a grand in my pocket. But, it does have new knobs....
