Can't see a damn thing in these rundowns...when are you going to fix this 'problem', PG?!?

Nice guy who's really thoughtful about his sound and his equipment. Over the top in terms of attention to details, but it's his life, he's into it and having fun, and he clearly connects his equipment to what he's trying to accomplish in his music. I love the way he keeps thanking everyone who's working with him on his guitars and rig.

Watching these rundowns is great! The last bit of this one was very telling. Fortus described playing a small venue with what sounds like a half stack, an overdrive and a few chords. He commented " It was so fun" like it was not something he did on a regular basis. While his rig probably sounds awesome and it is all detailed and perfect, it all seems so damn complicated! Is it really necessary? i know for certain this guy could do this gig with a half stack or two, even 2 combos and a modest pedal board and probably be happier. Even with the iso cabs and still making his FOH man happy. All these rundowns with rigs that could fly to the moon and back, I've never had the pleasure of playing though one but it just seems like overkill to me. Just sayin'....

Actually, this guy's a lot better than people think, always in the background but has been involved with very different situations and can play proper Country, Blues, Jazz, Heavy Metal, Funk, you name it, with the best of them. He's not a joke, he's a real pro in spite of the band he's playing with now(!) but that's business...
