I've been looking for a new type of effect for the lonest time, to no avail. the biggest factor for me is something that I will actually use most of the time, and not spend a couple hundred bucks for something that will sound graet for about 2 seconds a month. this superego might just be the thing. I have looked at many synth type pedals, and I see most as just envelope filters with a distortion built in, at least this is unique. I was thinking about getting a freeze anyway, to become essentially a one man band, you know play a chord and solo over myself, plus this has some of the best parts of the Hog pedal which is amazing, but too expensive for me. the more I think about it the more I want it. The wah is nice, but he did say this is just the first in a line of expression like pedals, I think I'll wait and see what comes next. 2 snaps up and a circle to Mike for coming up with more of the most um nique stuff on the planet as far as effects go. BTW I had an original LPB-1, the one that plugged directly into the amp,and to this day I've had no better overdrive (other than my Black MXR Distortion + set on output 2{true fans will know what that means})My lpb1 battery connector wires broke off and I was still too young to figure out how to solder it back together, this was before the internet,o It wound up lost, now I'm replacing that too. EHX rules, keep up the excellent work. Thanks MJO

No Improvements to the wah? I own an original Crybaby and the new switchless version, which is great. The Zvex Wah probe is another different take out there...

Clearly an accelerometer in the Wah pedal. That would make sense for a no-moving-parts solution. This would be the same kind of thing found in smartphones and in the Wii remote.

I'm not judging the tone of the wah until I hear it in person, but as far as gigging with it...just put velro on the top and flip it when carrying it. Turn it right side up at the gig and go.

I really love EHX pedals, dig the SuperEgo Synth pedal (*and the video was using auto mode without adjusting etc (though the NeiClone added nicely, saw the Pod2 there but ? used Like the freeze and playing over whats frozen to layer and capture and would like to try it out (the ?gliss feature note changing and timing, I have a EHX Freeze , Synth pedals have not been on my radar but maybe now this one is ? price I would like to get the EHX Ravish Sitar first (and two expression pedals for it (or one as have one) and ? use two amps too, though as its so cool and experimental (and linked with other effects wow) Need some cash though first ha, The Wah is cool and Mr. Mike Mathews looking good dude! the longer hair and beard ! and Rebecca is as always A+++++ and Miss Ya Jimi James Hendrix You played the guitar like few others and the Strat is more Iconic for it! Thanks Premier Guitar and EHX and Mr.Mike Mathews and Staff and Guitarist
