I would just buy the real deal for that price tag. Great its hand wired. For the money I can find an early 70's Marshall that would put me in the territory of what we are looking for here. Yes I agree that the sound was buzzy and this is a turn off but honestly if I had to I could throw a couple of pedals in front of it to spruce things up a bit so that may work. But again for the price really? Or just spend a little more money while you are at and go David Bray all the way and call it a day.

That was painful. I think Moroni nails it. Honestly, who would run out and buy this amp based on this demo?

Based on this demo I would not give this amp houseroom. How about playing through it with the classic guitars of the time like a Les Paul, Strat and Tele?

Sounds like poop...straight from the brown-eye. Not even close to 'bROwn' sound, VH, Zeppelin. First of all, that's not how you play 'Panama' anyway. Put it thru a delay & you might've hit some 'China Grove' though. The reason I say this is because not since '09 has anyone matched these so called 'Marshall-clone' amps up to a real 'vintage' Marshall head to head. You guys did it in that issue; I think it's time to 're-visit' that idea in an upcoming demo or video. It's time to call out the $4000'pretenders.' The simple fact is a lot of these amps don't sound as good as what they're trying to imitate; I'll stick to the real mcCoy, thank you.

I think my Jet City 20 watt sounds better and only cost me 300 buck.

That isn't anywhere close to Panama tone or VH tone. I agree, buzzy also.

And all u guys hung up on different types of cured and organic solders? U guys could use a little therapy n some boot camp on actually playing. Wonder how many people hear Satriani or Vai, or SRV n say the magical tone is in the solder?
