on 07/19/2012 		I got it now -- it was a tribute to Danny Gatton with the Hellecasters, on November 1st, 1994. I still don't know what song G.E. played. But if he was on a bill with the Hellecasters, and I remember him and not them, you know he did something right!

on 07/19/2012 		I remember seeing G.E. at the Bottom Line in NY in the 90's at a tribute concert (sorry, but I've forgotten the details). He was less modest than he is here, but he was playing a Cesar Diaz CD100 amp, and his tone was incredible from the first note. He had nailed it during the sound check, and he didn't need to double check! What a sound.
