Maybe something with a little more finesse. Plus his intonation leaves something to be desired. The bass is very pretty. I bet it sounds good in the hands of a good jazz player.

The clicking and popping is characteristic of the type of bluesy/rockabilly genre. It's delightful to be able to have such clean and recognizable pops and clicks. Let's not forget that the bass guitar (and its innate percussive manner) is (traditionally) a member of the rhythm section after all. Hope it helps. Knight String Basses are the top of the top. Nice too see this...I have no room to talk,but- is all the string slappin the fret board,click,click,click, necessary? Just Askn? or does it not come thru the amp.....still nice treat to see
