Cody, give Fano-hating Timmy and Buck some slack. Just because we never heard of them, doesn't mean that they aren't the coolest players on their block or in their 6th grade gym class. It doesn't mean that their girlfriends aren't impressed with their guitar heroics at the local talent show their dad drove them to. It doesn't mean that we shouldn't take their opinions seriously...oh, wait. Yes, it does!

I wonder if it's possible to get them without the distressing. I like his Non Reverse Firebird.

I felt compelled to comment here. I am not sure that Fano is my cup of tea, but a lot of you that are posting here are just "haters", pure and simple. Whether you like it or not, Fano is a talented builder who is building stuff people obviously want. To compare these high quality, hand built guitars to a Silvertone is laughable. Or to simple dismiss them as "junk" is just stupid. While you guys are sitting at home, he is at NAMM with people all over him about these guitars. I know you people will read this, because people who post on things like this are vain, and want to read other peoples comments, so lay off the "Haterade" folks. Those you can, build, those you can't, critique. Suck on them apples.

Just got my new Fano JM6 last week and played a Friday night gig with it! Yea feel pretty guilty for spending that kind of coin. But it was a couple thousand less than a Fender custom shop Jazzmaster!!! I had to have sea foam, or surf green. And I got a Bigsby on it. Would have cost more than $1,500 to build one myself and lots of hours. I researched it from many angles! But the Fano plays and sounds fantastic, and I do like distressing. Built a distressed partscaster last year. Love the soft satin feel, no sticky gloss please! Surflicious...

I would never pay the high price for s best up lame copy of some mutant Fender guitar. If I saw one of these junkers at a pawn shop for a hundred bucks I wouldn't give it a second look. Fano is no original just a sloppy imitation. You would be better off finding a sixties Teisco or Slivertone than this crap.

You have to hold one feel one and play one as they feel like a guitar you've played for years relic'd or not. I'm not happy with the price increases on any of these including the big three.

I just don't get Fano's guitars. No disrespect intended but for the money, I see more appealing guitars out there.

I hate distressed looking guitars. Imagine how cool these would be if they looked brand new.
