to Ozmick - no, you're wrong. Your Ibanez is NOT a modelling guitar - it's a MIDI guitar that can model via an attached synth/midi instrument. The variax is a modelling guitar - e.g., ALL INCLUDED sounds come from it's guitar jack. So, it is the only one, yes.

Impressive guitar but I have to correct him: that is not the only Floyd equipped modelling guitar in the world: my Ibanez RG with the Roland GK3 Hex pickup going through the GR-55 Synth/Modeller allows me to do the same as the Variax, plus I can gain access to a huge range of MIDI based synth tones. I'll admit though, the Variax has more diverse models and is a more "elegant" and compact option.

I like that it has a righty neck - with the tuners on top. I'm troubled by the tuners on the bottom of my JTV89. I love my JTV89 - I'm not a big trem user.
