Carr offers an unsurpassed commitment to both quality and value in the boutique amp arena. I own a "Mercury" and visited their plant about 4 months ago. Truly a high end product that sets the bar very high. I wish my playing matched the quality of their product.

I live within easy drive to Pittsboro and really like the sound/look of the Carr amps. I believe they are top notch quality. As mentioned, they are just so expensive. I ended up getting a Fender Super Sonic and I'm very happy with it.

A late friend of mine had an Impala that lost its vinyl roof. For weeks he drove around town with a big piece of vinyl flapping in the wind. Finally it peeled off completely and the result strongly resembled a "tie dyed roof", a label that stuck for years. So, how am I not to be reminded of this guy's junker whenever I hear about your amp, which I'm sure sounds great and will last a LOT longer than the ill-fated vinyl roof . . .

Excellent sound, but way too expensive!

I live about 30 minutes from where these amps are made. Top notch in every way. But due to price I never owned one. It is a shame a "made in the USA" amp has to be so expensive in comparison to made elsewhere.

Why not actually show what an amp can do in a preview? I've watched at least a half a doz "botique" amp previews and its a joke! Nothing against the guys playing but didnt show shit about the amp!!

Wow. I've been using a Slant 6V with an EVM12L for eight years now! I'm gonna have to check out this Impala! Looks like another great amp Steve!

Steve designs and builds the best amps on the planet, IMHO. I have Slant 6V #0016 and it's the perfect club or studio amp, although I have to admit, the Impala looks and sounds great.
