I want to see Phil X, Andy from Proguitarshop, Rob Chappers, and Thomas Schuber demo the gear.

Having a real honest to goodness professional guitar player demo amps for high end manufacturers is a must in my book. Even the best engineers and designers arent always necessarily the best option to actually demonstrate these on camera. In my opinion (which is all i have) a mediocre video performance turns off more people to their products than would sway them to buy and with all the guitar slingers in the area of the NAMM show I'd think they'd be easy enough to find for a modest fee. This might be the best amp on the planet and I couldn't listen to half of the demo.

these comments make very little sense. i have an early 70s princeton reverb blackface modded and with a weber 12. it's killer. i miss my imperial more then any amp i've ever sold. in fact it's the only amp i've ever missed and i would trade my princeton plus 300 dollars for it in a heartbeat. it was super punchy, loud, light, and responsive. in fact it was too loud for my gigs at the time and that's why i sold it. hindsight is 20/20. i'm sure that with an iron man with dual attenuator for each channel it would be the PERFECT home/any size gig combo. i've played red rocks with my princeton, but wish it was my tone king. mark knows how to make awesome amps.

Results need to justify price, and this price is does not do that!
Huh?

$2,600 for the 20w 20th Anniv Imperial? My Fargen-modded Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue, total investment w/mods, $1,100, would blow the doors off of that thing. Handwired depth? Sounded thin and brittle, actually.

I played that amp at NAMM and its great. But I have a Fender that sounds the same at more then half the price.

Ultra-linear was too hi-fi, I thought. Those amps sound quite nice.
