The Bass 6 sounds pretty good. It WOUlD have been interesting to hear an actual bass line on that instrument. Pleasantly suprised with the Jazzmaster's tone. The coil splitting seems to work well. Can't figure out the Super Sonic!

Pretty cool stuff from Fender. I hope they really re-issue the Bass VI and the Electric XII next. They are trulhy classic guitars that I would like to see come out at some point.

On a more positive note Fenders Squier line just gets batter and better. Unfortunately as more and more people get over being logo snobs the MIM & USA model sale will suffer. They probably know that and thats why more of the Fender logo models are now being made in Asian factories. I agree about the BASS VI demo. Get out of the showoff part of the neck and get up on the nut where the money is.

A 'Bass VI' is not a Bass. Nor is it a guitar. Nor is it a Baritone. It is a Bass VI. If you dont know what that is look it up. Custom carved top looks quite nice, yawn another $$$$$ Fender. Pawn shop series just gets uglier every year and more cartoonish. If Fender wants to build a guitar that looks like a $40 deal then they should sell it for $40
