Actually the pickups are designed to be oriented that way... rails under the wound strings for a tighter tone, and oversize poles under the plain strings to fatten them up. And there's no volume drop out on the plain strings when you bend, because the magnetic field is wide and strong. Thanks for checking us out!

Having a couple of Reverends already I am blown away especially by that Kingbolt RA! Makes my 4 yr. old Buckshot (one of my favorite guitars) obsolete!

Killer! you really got my attention this year "Reverend!" Call me looney, but the first thing i would do is give those pkups @ 180..as with all my installs..focusing towards the middle,not fret board or tail pice...in reverends case,the low strings dont need the rails,the high strings do..my 2cts
