I own a '74 Bass Master myself, which I've always likened to a Marshall Super Bass. This one, as mentioned in the video, has a brighter voice - more like a Marshall Super Lead. It sounds good, but I did notice it was missing the cream that a true YBA has in spades.

I ordered the YBA-1 at Long and McQuades today. There are still amps available for order.

I don't know if these are exclusive to Long and Mcquade. Past special editions of Traynors have gone that way. (Yorkville sound owns Traynor, Jack Long owns Yorkville Sound and the Long and McQuade retail chain.

I will be a nice edition to the Traynor Dark Horse and YCS100H I already have.

I use a Dark Horse now for gigging, would love to get a YBA1 but I doubt there will be any to buy....those are really low numbers for an anniversary amp Traynor!

For several years back in the 70's I used a YBA1A head with an 8x10 cabinet. Best rig I ever owned.

Killer amps. I have a YBA-1A from 1968 that just screams. Maybe one day I'll head to Long & McQuade and see how these compare.
