Thanks guys for the support! @ Wolf....We know we can't please everyone & yes you are correct, CR Alsip wasn't the 1st company to use a brass plate under our bridge. However we believe done the proper way it does indeed make a huge difference in sustain, tone & clarity. We would hope you would at least try one if you get the chance....it may help change your mind. :) If not we understand too! If anyone would like to hear a CR Alsip you can see Bill Leverty playing one here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2OUQOtrG Bg

He didn't say that they were the first, or only, company to use the brass plate. Seems like there is always somebody that has to look for only the negative. These guys are trying some things, besides beating up a good guitar, and they should be commended. I've never heard of them; but, they deserve a chance at their "share of the pie". Wishing you much success in all your efforts.

The #2 and #4 coil split tones are described backwards. The 2 outer coils split give a tele like middle tone, not a strat tone as described. The inner coils split give a sound "similar" to a strat quack tone with the bridge and middle pickup combined. ( it's the close proximity of the inner coils, and on a strat of the bridge and middle pickup that produce the quack sound. They're not electrically out of phase as some people think ) I have a S type guitar with Wilde L90s wired up this way, sounds great in all positions.

What a crock. Yamaha had a brass insert under their SG series 30 years ago. !!! The opening clip sounded like he had a wah pedal accidentally switched on. Def not a make I'll be following sorry.
