Totally agree about how awful the electronics sound on the acoustic/electrics. If I paid over $1K for an a/e and it sounded like that, I'd be mightily disappointed. BTW, I owned the Eastman tenor guitar (straight acoustic) and it was a fantastic sounding instrument.

The older I get, the smaller my equipment gets. LOL

Probably not necessary for the Eastman rep to make a comparison to last year's model since the dude with the mike doesn't seem to be sure what year it is anyway. Put the mike in somebody else's hand. Who else you got?

I've played Eastman acoustics and they are great sounding guitars, but that "high fidelity" electronics system still sounds like the same old brittle, quacky crap that passes for amplified acoustic sound these days. Terrible.

My Eastman E10SS is the sweetest guitar I've ever owned -- I took it in to get a pickup installed and my luthier had a J45 in the shop at the same time -- he compared the two and honestly felt the Eastman played and sounded so much better -- for 1/2 to 1/3 the cost, too!
