Walrus Audio Releases Descent Reverb

The Descent offers three presets and can be operated by a remote switcher.

Norman, OK (June 10, 2014) -- The team at Walrus is excited to announce the highly anticipated release of the Descent Reverb. Production is in progress and will begin shipping units out on June 11, 2014.

The Descent captures the height of a harmonic symphony with its shimmer and reverse capabilities, but can also dial in the classic hall reverb functions. With three modes: Hall, Reverse and Shimmer, the user has infinite possibilities for reverb. The dry control gives the user precise control over the amount of un-effected signal, while the +1 and -1 octave controls allow the user to add high and low octaves to the Reverb’s wet mix. The expression pedal output is intuitive and can be easily programmed for one or all of the controls; creating, for example, the ability to bring in and out symphonic octave swells. The Descent works with most on-the-shelf expression pedals.

The Descent offers three presets and can be operated by a remote switcher (available for purchase separately) that allows the user to operate the bypass and preset controls from a small switcher (connected via TRS cable) at the front of their pedal board, freeing up valuable board real estate.

The Descent Reverb is dark blue, with signature Walrus artwork from Nathan Price. As with all Walrus products, the pedal is made with high¬-fidelity components and industrial grade hardware, switches and connectors.
