Marshall Amplification Unveils 50th Anniversary Cabinets

Each cabinet features period correct aesthetics, build quality, and craftsmanship.

London, England (January 22, 2015) -- In 1965, the late, great Jim Marshall and groundbreaking British guitarist, Pete Townshend, collaborated together and the omnipresent rock icon, the Marshall stack, was born. The angled and straight fronted Marshall 4x12” speaker cabinets which created the legendary stack have changed very little in the following 50 years and Marshall stacks continue to dominate stages all over the world to this very day.

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the birth of the stack, Marshall is producing Limited Edition angled and straight angled (812A50) and straight (812B50) 4x12” commemorative cabinets: with period correct aesthetics, build quality and craftsmanship. Each of these UK built cabs also feature Celestion G12M 20 Watt 12” speakers, with solder tags as per the originals, authentically recreated grille cloth, a rear-panel mounted commemorative plaque and dust cover.

These cabinets are available separately (head not included!) and will only be available during 2015.
