Aristides Guitars Launches with Molded "Arium" Material Guitars

Netherlands (December 18, 2009) -- Designed by Poort Artistides and Delft University in the Netherlands, Aristides Instruments feature a state of the art material called ‘Arium’, aimed at giving the sonic characteristics of a Stradivarius, to surpass the tone and sustain of traditional electric guitars.


The Artisides 010 guitar, is a high-end ace with premium components, featuring a one-piece integrally molded Arium body and neck; top-grade ebony fretboard with pearl inlay and a compound radius from 10" at the nut to 16" at 22th fret; neck width of 1.65" (42mm) width at the nut to 2.05" (52mm) at the 12th fret; neck profile of C-Shaped, 0.79" (20mm) thickness at the nut to 0.87" (22mm) at the 12th fret; Seymour Duncan USA TB-5 (bridge), APS-2rwrp (middle), and APS-2 (neck) pickups; Graph Tech frets; and a Wilkinson VS100N tremolo bridge by Gotoh. Finished with a thin layer of aluminum, the 010 is available in a choice of matt black or aluminum silver.

The company also offers the 050 model five-string electric bass.

Industry veteran guitarist Adrian Vandenberg (Whitesnake) will be on hand to launch the new company at NAMM.
