Los Angeles, CA (June 3, 2012) – BOSS is pleased to announce the eBand JS-10 Audio Player with Effects, a compact, all-in-one jam-along companion for guitarists, bassists, and singers. Equipped with a powerful 2.1 speaker system, the latest GT-100 equivalent COSM amps and effects, onboard over 350 jam tracks, WAV/MP3 playback, and more, the JS-10 expands on the feature set that made its predecessor, the eBand JS-8, such a big hit.
eBand makes practicing fun by providing users a convenient, plug-and-play jam station that’s always ready to go. While the original JS-8 featured just a single input, the eBand JS-10 is equipped with two guitar/mic inputs with completely separate effects path. This allows two musicians to play together, or a single musician to play and sing at one time, or music teacher to realize ideal lessons. The song recording function also lets musicians capture their performances at any time for instant self-evaluation or sharing on the web.
BOSS GT-100 class effects and COSM amps deliver instant world-class guitar tones, and there’s a wide range of top-shelf effects for bass and vocals as well. In addition, the JS-10’s newly expanded library of onboard backing tracks and rhythms gives players a huge selection of music styles to jam along with while building their chops. Users can also jam/sing along with their favorite WAV and MP3 songs by playing them directly from SD or USB media, or by importing them from a computer using the included eBand JS-10 Song List Editor software. The pitch and/or tempo of any audio played by the JS-10 can be freely adjusted. A Center Cancel function is also provided for removing solos and vocals from commercial tracks, allowing for minus-one music practice and karaoke sing-along fun. That’s right; remove lead vocals and guitars from your favorites songs!
With its impressive 2.1 sound system, the eBand JS-10 delivers a big, rich sound that defies the unit’s small footprint. The integrated subwoofer provides not only full and punchy bass and drums, but also a deep, satisfying low end for ultra-heavy modern guitar tones.
