Delaney Guitars Unveils the Wedge Guitar
Powder Springs, GA (August 11, 2011) -- Delaney Guitars unveiled its newest guitar, the “Wedge” while exhibiting at Summer NAMM in Nashville, Tennessee. The Wedge joins the Jagata, Sonoita, Bisbee, Big Sky, Arlen Roth Signature, Matt “Guitar” Murphy Signature and Big City Bass models in the Delaney Guitars lineup.

"The Wedge is our take-off on the traditional “V” design paying homage to the time-honored design while modernizing it and adding the familiar Delaney touches of fine woods, state- of-the-art electronics and hardware, and old school finishes," said Mike Delaney, owner of Delaney Guitars. "This project has been a lot of fun working on design ideas from one of my oldest friends, Philip Culp. With Philip’s help, we put together a beautiful guitar with hints of tradition but with a modern vibe,” Delaney added.

The Wedge guitar has a choice of mahogany, korina (limba), or swamp ash body with or without an exotic top; a choice of maple/rosewood, korina/ebony, or mahogany/ebony neck with a soft "C" neck profile; choice of humbucker pickups; Hipshot hardtail or grand piano bridge; Hipshot locking tuners; master volume and tone; and a three way switch.

The guitar will retail starting at $2,175.00.
