Benicia, CA (September 18, 2009) -- Dunlop Manufacturing unveils their latest MXR offering, the FullBore Metal Distortion pedal. Dunlop describes the all-analog pedal as a "compact but powerful device that provides guitarists all they'll need to unleash the most devastating contemporary metal guitar tones ever heard." It's designed to turbo-charge the guitar signal with more high gain than necessary. This is achieved by combining  a built-in Noise Gate to knock out the noise associated with extreme gain levels while also adding definition and tightness to syncopated metal riffs.

Its EQ controls include, Bass, Mid, sweepable Mid-Freq and Treble knobs that let you sculpt your tone with precision. The additional Scoop switch provides an instant high and low frequency boost that Dunlop says can "rumble the room while also adding clarity." Other features on the MXR FullBore true-bypass switching and 9V battery powered with AC input available.

The pedal is available now with a street price of $99.99 and List price of $169.99.
