While there are all the usual suspects when it comes to high-grade tonewoods (quilted maple, flame maple, variations of rosewood and cocobolo) but there is a special, one-off piece. It is a piece that was combined by nature which is half quilted maple and half flame maple. Mother nature seems to be looking out for tone-hounds, too.
