Gibson Announces Slash Appetite for Destruction Les Paul

Nashville, TN
(March 12, 2010) -- It's a big year for Slash gear, with new Seymour Duncan pickups released and a Marshall amp on the way. Now, Gibson has officially released the Appetite for Destruction Les Paul, designed after the guitar Slash played on the album.

The guitar features a Grade AAA "reverse-chevron" figured maple top with nitrocellulose "Unburst" finish, amber top-hat knobs, rosewood fingerboard with traditional trapezoid inlays, and Slash headstock graphic, a TonePros Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, and a high-density Corian nut. The neck is one-piece Grade A quarter-sawn mahogany with Slash's preferred slim ’60s profile,  12" fingerboard radius and 22 jumbo frets. The guitar is equipped with two Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Slash humbuckers.

The guitar comes with a hardshell case with silkscreen Slash graphic. MSRP $4728.
