Gig-Fx Announces SubWah for Bass

The SubWah captures the signature wide sweep range of the Megawah, tailored to bass guitar

Waltham, MA (September 24, 2009) -- Gig-Fx has released the SubWah, a new bass wah pedal they're calling, "the funkiest wah ever for bass."

The new SubWah captures the signature wide sweep range and funky low end of the Megawah, but has tailored the frequency ranges to bass guitar. Gig-Fx says that special care was taken to ensure preservation of bass frequencies, including five/six string low B response. The SubWah also features an enhanced user-adjustable delay so that when sweeping the pedal, the unit's off setting can be fine-tuned to the player's preferences.

The all-analog pedal features four settings:
  • Classic wah sound
  • Very deep bass "Sub" wah
  • Specially-adapted trigger/envelope setting
  • Auto-wah with adjustable rate
The pedal is available now, with an MSRP of $225.
