Poughkeepsie, NY (July 24, 2012) – After extensive research, HeadlessUSA has located the original case manufacturer of the Steinberger GM hardshell cases from the 1980s and 1990s to have them build identical replicas. Many Steinberger afficiandos prefer this traditional plywood type of formfit case, as the original soft bags offered very little real protection to their favorite guitars.
Originally, there were two grades of case available: the "basic" case that just had an open space for the guitar body, and this "deluxe" version with plush form-fit interior, which holds the guitar firmly in place to avoid any movement.
