NAMM '10 - Godin Session, Richmond Belmont & More

PG's Shawn Hammond is On Location in Anaheim, CA, for NAMM 2010 where he visits the Godin Guitars area. In this segment, we get a taste of all Godin's newest models and upgrades from all their brands, including the Richmond Belmont & Dorchester, Redline Custom Original Art Series, Godin Session Guitar and Shifter Bass, Norman ST40 Folk acoustic and the Simon & Patrick Cutaway GT Series. The Richmond Belmont now comes with 3 Seymour Duncan pickups a '59 (bridge) and two lipstick singlecoils, licensed Bigsby trem and a new white body color. The Richmond Dorchester now comes in vintage cream with black binding and natural wood finishes and licensed Bigsby trems. The Redline Custom Original Art Series are new graphic finishes within the Redline III framework with Floyd Rose trems and EMG 81 & 85 pickups. The graphic art finishes are designed by Montreal artist Giulio Pampena and the four model names are the Redline III Roadkill HG, Redline III Cherry-Bomb HG, Redline III Carnage SG and the Redline III Celtic-Tatt HG. The Godin Session has two Godin singlecoils and a Godin humbucker with push-pull coil-taps and features a Canadian Laurentian basswood body and rock maple neck. The Godin Shifter bass features three soapbar pickups with a Canadian Laurentian basswood body and rock maple neck and either a maple or rosewood fingerboard. Also, it has a double-functioning bridge for modern or vintage tones.
